Youth Summer Academy

Program:         Youth Summer Academy

Details:            The youth summer academy offers participants an opportunity build on both their individual skills and team skills. The focus will be on learning multi-setter offensive systems and multiple service reception formations. Each session will consist of 1 hour of instruction followed by 1 hour of game play.

Date:               Friday July 7 to Friday August 25

Eligibility:        All youth / genders currently in grade 6, 7 or 8 with previous volleyball experience or training. This is not a beginner’s program.

Participants:    28

Assessment:    Sunday June 11 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm @ the Queens Park Sportsplex

Session days:   Fridays 6:30 to 8:30 pm @ the Queens Park Sportsplex (7 session total)

Cost:                $85 gst included

Includes:          Facility costs, insurance, equipment, first aid, coaching (training and checks)

Additional:       Appropriate athletic footwear, suitable for indoor gyms, is required. Knee pads are recommended. Please see New West Volleyball Associations dress code and code of conduct. A liability waiver is required to be signed by the parent / guardian
